The following is a list of notable families which exist within the northern continent of Motan. Notable families are families of which have become remarkable or noteworthy in some way. All families which are significant enough to be on this list are granted family names. Family names serve as a status symbol and functionally take the place of biological surnames.

The Greenleafs are a family revered for their generosity and charitable efforts. The Greenleaf family resides within the town of Greenleaf, and upon official recognition were named after their home town.
