Astral wolf

The astral wolf (Cuon astralis, pl.: astral wolves) is a canid species indigenous to the northern continent of Motan. Although they are informally referred to as wolves, taxonomically they are more closely related to the dhole than they are the gray wolf, and by Earth standards would be considered a part of the Cuon genus.
